As an SEO consultant in Harrisburg and Central PA area, I always find it challenging for sales staff to communicate the SEO value. The common question I get from first meeting with sales or potential clients, how much does it cost to rank my site #1 for this keyword?
First I would like to share what makes SEO different from other marketing packages.
1-SEO pricing is not determined by the work of the SEO consultant only, it is related heavily to the goal vis a vis the external factors/environment/competition etc.
2-SEO relate heavily on research
3-Search Marketing Methodologies may vary
I found only few firms that are transparent about their SEO packages pricing. A package can be a good start but true SEO never stops.
